Classical Formulas
The following herbal formulas are 19 of the most famous classical herbal combinations that come out of ancient China. The herbs in each formula are prepared together following the classical decocting methods and then dehydrated into a granular form. Typically one or two or these formulas are used as the base formula and then are augmented with the addition of single herbs to customize the formula for the individual.
